High Jewelery Busts

This display project, developed for the presentation of Repossi’s Summer 2025 High Jewelry Collection, Blast, unfolded over several months of research, reflection, and creative exploration. The Blast collection draws inspiration from the Maasaï tribes and the concept of an eternal gold thread, symbolizing continuity and strength, references that guided the scenographic approach.
The exhibition was presented at the Quai Branly Museum in Paris, a setting that resonated deeply with the cultural and symbolic roots of the collection. Rather than using traditional jewelry displays, the scenography was conceived to reflect the core principles of the collection, rawness, contrast, and craftsmanship.
Custom wooden displays were designed to move away from conventional presentation codes. After extensive experimentation and conceptual development, we collaborated with a wood artisan specializing in a traditional Japanese wood-burning technique. The resulting charred surfaces contrasted powerfully with the delicacy and warmth of the rose gold high jewelry pieces, enhancing both the materiality of the displays and the identity of the collection.
